Core rules
- 1Be kind and inclusive.
No bullying, harassment, discrimination, slurs, hate speech, sexual content, threats, intimidation, or targeted humiliation. - 2Protect personal information.
Never share real names, ages, addresses, schools, phone numbers, private accounts, passwords, precise locations, or another person's private information. - 3Play fairly.
No hacked clients, x-ray, automation that bypasses intended play, duplication, exploit abuse, or hiding a serious exploit instead of reporting it privately. - 4Respect other players' work.
No griefing, theft, traps, claim bypasses, unwanted build interference, or deliberate crowding around a neighbor's claim. - 5Use consent.
Do not pressure players into PvP, trades, travel, voice chat, external contact, gifts, teams, or sharing information. - 6Do not evade safety controls.
No alternate-account ban evasion, filter evasion, impersonation, false reports, evidence tampering, or retaliation against someone who reports a concern.
Public spaces
Chat and privacy
- Keep chat, signs, books, names, listings, and public builds family-friendly.
- No spam, repeated messages, disruptive caps, scams, malicious links, or advertising other servers and communities.
- Do not ask minors or other players to move a conversation to private messages or an external app.
- If another player makes you uncomfortable, use
/ignore <player>, move away, and submit a private/report. - Staff may review server records when investigating safety, grief, fraud, or rule violations. Access is limited to authorized duties.
Shared world
Gameplay and builds
- Claim important builds and containers, but never treat an unclaimed build as free property.
- Leave reasonable space around neighbors and ask before connecting roads, farms, portals, or redstone systems to their work.
- Do not intentionally create lag machines, uncontrolled entity farms, chunk-loading abuse, or redstone clocks that harm server health.
- Report duplication, item-loss, economy, claim, or permission bugs privately. Do not demonstrate them publicly.
- Use the market and direct trade honestly. No misleading listings, collusion, laundering, or abuse of delivery/recovery systems.
- Respect event boundaries, judging rules, and protected civic projects.
Consistent process
Staff and consequences
Staff use the least disruptive response that protects the community. Context, severity, history, intent, and immediate risk all matter.
- Possible actions include guidance, a warning, content removal, temporary mute, kick, access restriction, restoration, temporary ban, or permanent ban.
- Serious threats, grooming behavior, hate, doxxing, malicious exploitation, or credible safety risks may skip lower steps.
- Follow immediate staff safety directions. Questions or disagreements belong in a private appeal, not public chat.
- Staff actions are audited. Staff may not use investigation tools for curiosity, favoritism, retaliation, or personal advantage.

Reporting and appeals
Report privately
Use /report <player> <reason>. Include what happened, when, and any safe reference that helps staff locate evidence. Do not post accusations or sensitive evidence in public chat.
Appeal a moderation action
Use /appeal create <message>. Explain what you believe was incorrect or what has changed. Do not use alternate accounts or friends to bypass an active action.
Immediate danger
PlushSMP staff are not emergency services. If someone may be in immediate real-world danger, stop engaging, tell a trusted adult, and contact the appropriate local emergency service.
