Exact item escrow
One held stack becomes one listing
/market sell <price> removes the complete main-hand stack only after it has passed item and public-text policy checks, serializes that exact stack, and creates a listing with a UUID and whole-Plush-Coin price. If listing creation fails, the stack is returned.
The current config permits at most 10 open listings per seller. Each listing expires after 168 hours, or 7 days. Browse results are paged and ordered by listing creation time, not by cheapest unit price.
Atomic settlement
Buy one listing by UUID
/market buy <listing-uuid> locks that one open listing. The buyer cannot buy their own listing. In one database transaction, PlushSMP verifies expiry and available balance, debits the full price, credits the seller after tax, closes the listing, records ledger/history entries, and queues the exact escrow payload for the buyer.
The current configured market tax is 500 basis points, or 5%. The seller receives the listed price minus that tax.
No partial handoff
Exact delivery recovery
Purchases do not depend on either player staying online. A sale creates a deterministic pending purchase delivery. Cancellation and seven-day expiry create deterministic pending returns to the seller using the same serialized item payload.
/market claim selects the oldest pending delivery whose complete stack fits. The database marks it claimed before inventory handoff. If the player disconnects or space disappears before delivery, the record is restored to pending and no partial stack is handed out. If nothing fits, the delivery remains pending and the player is asked to make room.

A listing market
Not a bulk cheapest-fill exchange
This market does not aggregate interchangeable inventory, calculate quantities across sellers, or fill an order from the cheapest listings. Each UUID refers to one seller's one exact stack at one total price. To buy several stacks, a player buys several listing UUIDs separately.
